First and foremost, we hope everyone is doing the best they can under these difficult circumstances. We hope you are safe and healthy and following all best practices to stay that way.
As you may know, on March 24, 2020, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signed a public directive that prohibits gatherings of 10 or more people. That order is now in place until April 30, 2020 unless extended. Even prior to that order being signed we had already determined it would be best to postpone all events until it’s safer to gather together. As a result, Driver’s Edge has temporarily suspended events until further notice.
Our intention is to get events back on the calendar as soon as possible, but we don’t yet know when that will be. When we do, we’ll post more information. Please check back here and you can follow us on Instagram @drivers_edge and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/driversedge.org as we’ll post updates there too.
In the meantime, we know these are difficult times for everyone. As a small non-profit organization and public charity in Nevada, we rely heavily on donations and public grants in order to operate and continue providing our free program to young drivers and their parents.
During this time we could really use your help and if you’d like to donate we’d be grateful for the support.
The following link or the button below will take you directly to our gofundme charity page at https://charity.gofundme.com/driversedge and all donations are fully tax deductible.
Thank you all so much for your ongoing support over the years. Having served our community since 2002 we’re proud to call Nevada home and we’re proud to be part of making our state a safer place. Together we can continue making a difference and we hope to see you soon!
