With more than 30 years of experience as a professional driving instructor, Andrew Shoen has spent his career helping drivers develop the skills, confidence, and judgment needed to perform behind the wheel. A longtime instructor with the renowned Skip Barber Racing School, Andrew also served as a performance and test driver for leading automotive manufacturers and worked with corporate clients throughout North America.

Today, Andrew enjoys a well-earned retirement, traveling the country with his wife and their two dogs. But whenever Driver’s Edge calls, he happily points the RV toward the next event to help teach the next generation of young drivers. His passion for driver education, combined with decades of instructional experience and his easygoing personality, make him a favorite among students, parents, and fellow instructors alike.
